Chrysler, LLC’s Ram Truck brand has launched production of the minivan-based 2012 Ram Cargo Van in its Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada. The Class 1 Ram C/V offers a payload capacity of 1,800-lbs. and towing capability of up to 3,600 lbs. Mercedes-Benz USA, parent of Mercedes-Benz Vans, announced that the Sprinter cargo, chassis cab and passenger vans will cost about 6% less than last year. Dodge announced a program running from June 3, 2008 to January 2, 2009 offering a $1,000 allowance toward the purchase of an upfit body for installation on all Dodge Sprinter chassis cab models.       The program is not a retail incentive and is open to all approved Dodge Sprinter dealers nationwide.
